As Wendy Wu would put it, Halo has created a “spec-a-tacular” series of webisodes and blooper reels to promote Wendy Wu Tour’s 2012/2013 holiday catalogue.
A swarm of travel agents entered Wendy Wu Tour’s web competition - “Where’s Wendy Trivia” - after following the travels and travails of Wendy and her bumbling sidekick Panda through Vietnam, China, India and Mongolia. To watch the films, directed by Chris Hauge and Simon O’Leary, go to:

Party Girl Party
The Australian Effects & Animation Festival award screening was a luminous night for Halo Pictures. Halo won the gong in the Web/Viral category for ‘Party Girl’ - a continuous line animation crafted for the Australian Government’s ‘The Line’ campaign

Scary Treatment

Working with Nathan Jurevicius and Sophie Byrne for Passion Pictures, director Chris Hauge has delivered a new animated visual treatment for Scarygirl. As this is secret squirrel business we can’t show the technique, but we can say we are very, very pleased.
Doing it Tough

Sanchez the Scholar
We’re all cheering for Joe Sanchez, Halo’s youngest line producer, who has won a twelve month scholarship to Metro Screen. Joe is making a huge commitment - studying four nights a week whilst still working. After a frenetic year, Joe will not only hold an Advanced Diploma in Screen and Media (for multi-platform producing), but also be able to tell us whether we need Twitter.
